How To Defend The Takedown (Maintaining Distance)

Hey Guys, Welcome back!

Whether you currently train in the Master Wong Fighting System or not our Grappling and Ground Fight Videos may be just what you need to take your fight or self-defence game to the next level.

Using the exact principles and concepts we use in our striking game, we’re able to maintain the same mindset wherever the fight gets taken.

Simple, yet very effective techniques are adapted from each of Master Wong’s Fighting Systems and effortlessly incorporated into our Grappling & Ground Fight System to ensure its efficiency and application in combat is maintained.

You’ll see techniques taken from Wing Chun, Tai Chi, Jeet Kune Do, San Shou and even concepts from Traditional Kung Fu used to dictate where the fight takes place and ensure a positive outcome.

Over the coming weeks you’ll see  basic techniques from all aspects of the Master Wong Grappling & Ground Fight System including Preventing the Takedown, Getting the Takedown, Basic Control of Your Opponent and his Posture (both standing and on the ground), Transitions, Locks, Holds and Submission Techniques from all available positions just to name a few.
